About meI am a 9th grade student at saline high school. My whole life I have played basketball and baseball, I continued this into high school as I have been "in season" the whole school year. My whole moms side of the family lives in Pittsburgh which almost makes it my second home, as I visit very often

Digital PhotographyI took this class at Saline High School because of my interest in photography. I have played sports all my life and I began an obsession over action photos during sport events. The only problem was that I had no past experience with a camera so as soon as I saw that digital photography was an option for me, I seized it.

Composition Assignment two
Balance
This picture shows two objects of interest balanced out.
Perspective
This image shows perspective because I took the shot from an above angle showing the depth of my foot and the stairs.
Color
this image shows color with the changing of blue to green, taken at an angle to express the colors.
Space
This image gives the main object of the picture space to breathe.
Framing
In this image I used another classmate and two vending machines to frame himself.
The Rule of Thirds
In this photo I made sure the main object was on the top right side of the photo, bringing out the rule of thirds.
Pattern
In this image I used the window pattern on the main wall in the commons, as well as bringing out the light behind.
Symmetry
In this photo, all the players are on the same row identical, so I took the photo right in the middle with a main point of interest being this red player.
Texture
I took this image at an angle that expresses the texture from when the paint was first brushed on.
Depth of field
In this image, I took it at a close angle which focuses in on the player and blurring the back.
Lines
I used the lines on the bricks to bring out the parallel line pattern on the wall
This assignment helped me learn way more about photography. I never knew about the rule of thirds and always assumed you took a picture from straight ahead. Perspective was also big because I used to think it was just bad lighting or a bad object but now i realize that where I position myself really improves the photo.
Inspiration post
For my First photo shooting assignment I am going to focus on animal. I am hoping to get better at taking "action" photos, for example, when my dog is moving/stretching. I am going to work o adjusting my aperture and shutter speed to take better photos.
I feel like these images are very good at demonstrating the dogs in the photos. In the last picture, The background is blurred which really brings out the tongue and face details. The other photos really catch the animal in an unusual position, rather than just a dog sleeping.
Pop Art
In this assignment, we are taking a photo of ourself into photoshop. We are then turning the boring old photo into pop art. Our second photo is the same thing just with a picture of choice.
I have learned a lot from this assignment. Before the class I didn't know how photoshop worked at all, After this assignment I learned so much more about how to change color on photos which can be a big aspect of photoshop. When I adjusted my hue/saturation it showed me how to brighten the color on photos, as well as darken them. The main objective of this assignment was to take an original photo and turn it into pop art, this helped me get used to photoshop and editing photos.
Animal Photo Assignment #1
For photo assignment one, I chose the subject of animals for my photos. The goal of this assignment was to capture the activity or nature of an animal.
Aperture: 4.0
Shutter speed: 1/8
ISO: 100
Shutter speed: 1/8
ISO: 100
In This assignment I used my dog Luna as the main object. She tends to lay down all day because she is getting older and her hips are weak, with this knowledge I decided to take up close photos of her laying down and her facial expressions, I would nudge her and try to get a photo of her getting up but she got up way too fast. I learned that positioning in photography makes a huge impact, sometimes you have to be in an awkward position to get the best out of a photo.
Car Assignment
In this assignment, we photoshopped a car at an auto show to make it look as similar to the edited photo as possible. We then chose our own cars and photoshopped them. by doing this assignment I learned so much more about photoshop and how to edit photos. I feel like this will be very useful in future assignment with editing the background and blocking out useless objects and shadows.

School Photoshop Assignment
The goal of this assignment was to take an excellent photograph of the school and change the context of the photo, using a theme.
In this photoshop assignment we took a picture from the school and photoshopped a theme into it. The theme that I chose was Jurassic World. This assignment helped me with photoshop so much, It taught me how to actually add images and layers to a photo which was was one of the main reasons I took this class.
Nature/Landscape Photo assignment #2
Express the nature and the landscapes that we live in.
Aperture: f/4
Shutter speed: 1/3200
ISO: 200
Shutter speed: 1/3200
ISO: 200
In this assignment, I took pictures of the flowers that had recently been grown by my Mom. I chose this because it is one of the first few days that the flowers actually blossomed and with the sun shining down on them I thought it would be a perfect opportunity. I learned that depending on the time of day, your picture may come out better. I waited and took pictures throughout the day until around eight when the sun was going down and shined a golden light down on the flowers, really bringing out the true colors.
Architecture Photo assignment #3
Feature architectural features of buildings and structures.
Aperture: f/2.8
Shutter Speed:1/100
ISO: 800
Shutter Speed:1/100
ISO: 800
For this assignment, I took pictures of the foyer in my house. I chose this subject because I feel like my house has a unique structure, with the overhead "balcony" looking over the entrance. I took pictures at different times of the day to adjust the lighting that came through the windows. From this assignment, I learned how the sun can affect the overall portrait of a photo.
